Sophia is growing so fast. I can not paint fast enough. The fairy outfit is one of her favorite costumes, it tickles me. The image on the stage really characterizes her. She loves to pretend.

Jimmy February 2007 oil on canvas
Jimmy accompanied me to the downtown studio one Sunday in February. I decided to paint him, he loves that. I did this painting in two sittings.

This is the umbrella I painted which was auctioned off as part of a fundraiser for the UMBRELLA organization which helps seniors stay in their homes.

The Cardinals
The Cardinals is an oil on canvas painting, 14 x 18 inches. The Cardinals is the first in a series. I saw the photograph of the Cardinals with the notice of the Pope's death-the photo got me interested in doing the series.
Sophia
This is a painting of Sophia called Pia. It is an oil on board 6 x6 inches that I completed this year. It is going to be in the 72 nd Annual National Exhibition of the Cooperstown Art Association. I am pleased to be in this show and with a painting of my granddaughter.
